Weightless States

It’s funny
that we so hopefully pursue
what we wish to last eternally,
which, external to our hopes and dreams,
is less eternal than the objects of our dreaming,
and thus hopelessly ignore
the eternal state of differences
of all internal hopes
to all eternal dreams.
